ROT13
Simple encryption system where each of the 26 letters of the alphabet is swapped for one 13 characters along. This procedure is not meant to keep things secret, merely to hide things that not everyone may wish to see in plain text form: for example the punchline to a joke, a sports result, or whether the butler did it. Some Usenet newsreaders have ROT13 facilities built in.
